Intranet Software Provider Wins ‘HR Supplier of the Year’ Award at Annual Supplier Conference
16 October 2012 – Interact a leading global supplier of intelligent intranet software, has been awarded the ‘HR Supplier of the Year’ award by one of the UK’s largest health and beauty retailers, Superdrug in their annual conference in Surrey.
“We are delighted to have won the ‘HR supplier of the Year’ award from Superdrug,” said Nigel Danson, CEO and Founder of Interact. “We were up against renowned HR suppliers, which shows what a huge difference a successful intranet can really make to an organisation.

Interact was selected by Superdrug to supply their intranet in 2011 and since implementation their intranet has helped them to achieve significant business success through the combination of communication, collaboration and business process tools available within Interact Intranet software.
Superdrug utilise the social intranet tools available in Interact Intranet including the blogs, that are used top-down in the organisation to share knowledge and collate internal ideas for improving sales, saving costs and generating ideas about new products and how to work efficiently.
They also allow external suppliers to ‘rent’ space on their intranet to run product training for store staff on new products leading to increased sales and greater product knowledge for store staff.

Superdrug currently has over 900 stores including stores in the Republic Of Ireland and employs 16,000 colleagues.
