Because Sheetz remained open throughout the pandemic, over 21,000 employees were still working in stores, distribution centers, and remotely.
The redesigned intranet, BOB, was used to reduce digital friction and to host a valuable COVID-19 Resource Center. This area included information on COVID pay and benefits, guidelines, procedures, FAQs, and a Sheetz official daily update category. Broadcasts were deployed, pinging important messages from the company president to workers’ cellphones and encouraging users to visit the Resource Center.
